It has been a few weeks since I posted, but I have a lot going, I saw this little picture and it kind of sums it up for me, I have not been on Facebook much and that is quite fine by me, I am concentrating on my Piano, crushing candies, and finishing up on my crocheted shawl, which is pictured with Miss Kit in the photo.

The fourth of July has come and gone, there was a bit of noise around in celebration, but Kit did not seem flustered as some animals do, she is the sweetest girl..we love her so much!!
I found this flag peeking through the trees, on the point of the river, it was totally unexpected, some of the neat things I like!!

Until next time....Good day!!

Surprise

This morning,  I grabbed my Lean, before going for a walk, I wanted to get out before the real heat of the day, I didn’t get to many pics, because the sun was too harsh at that time of the day; so tonight I did a walk about in our yard and did a few pictures of our struggling flowers.  The surprise is in the picture of the day lily, I was trying some fragmenting photography, that a friend suggested, can you see what happened with some black and white editing??  Look closely in the petal to the right, it isn’t a bug, but the center of the flower, how neat is that!!
It was warm today, not that I mind, I like warm more than cold. Temperatures topped 99, this afternoon in my kitchen, so I decided to work on some Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ music this afternoon, it was fun to play something different, these 2 songs in the pic are fairly new to me, it was a bit of a challeng, but I will get it, after all, who hasn’t heard of Christmas in July and tomorrow is the first, I’m not certain where June went!!

Hats ๐Ÿงข OFF

My goal the bridge....
It was a very warm day, my plan was to get out early for a walk, before it got to warm, but that didn’t happen, I slept too late....So I quickly dressed, mixed up my P96 with my Slim, guzzled it down, grabbed a banana ๐ŸŒ and headed out!!  I decided I wouldn’t wear my sunglasses ๐Ÿ˜Ž today, I grabbed my hat ๐Ÿงข and I was happily walking ๐Ÿšถ‍♀️  along, when a breeze blew my  hat off and down the road, so thus I chased it down...the moral,  pick up your hat, don't look back and move on with life!!

This picture of the river was not taken the same day as I walked, but I liked it and I love my walk along the river, it is ever changing with the light and clouds...it is just so pretty!

The Beginning

Today, I am starting my VERY first blog journey, I started with Facebook, but needed a change.  I look forward to sharing the things in my life that are important to me....Music, crocheting, photography, HEALTH journey, or anything that takes my fancy!!

Diva Challenge # 119 and a finished Scarf

This week the Diva Challenge # 119, was Ebony and Ivory, equal parts of black and white.  I think I was really up for this challenge, I did two tiles!!

This is my first attempt at using black cardstock and a white gelly roll pen.  I really didn't like using the white gelly roll on the cardstock, for any of those who have used it, you know what I mean, it's not an easy task!

I call this a funky, sherbert striped scarf!!  When I got this yarn, it looked varigated in the skein, when I saw that it was coming out in stripes, I was quite amazed, but I like the way it turned out!!

That's it for this blog, until next time, happy crafting!!

Diva Challenge 110, and other Tangles

This week, Laura challenged us to think outside the box, so I really tried to do just that.  In honor of St. Patrick's day I did a new tangle called Lucky by Adele(sp) Bruno CZT.  I used a lot of different pens for this, that I don't normally use, I also used a gold one that worked in nicely with the color scheme.

This was a string challenge #043, I worked myself from the outside in, I'm not sure that was to wise, but I think it turned out okay.

I decided to do just a simple Z tile and a montangle, well it got away from me, but I still like the way it turned out.

Yesterday, Terri Brown submitted a new tangle pattern called Snugz, I had fun with it last night, I kept playing with it and came up with this heart, I love hearts, it turned out nicely.

Zendala Dare #45 and other Weekend Porjects

Saturday, I finished the Zendala Dare Challenge #45.  I did it on White Bristol, I'm not really sure I like working on this paper, but it turned out okay.

Over the past week I also did a Tangle String Challenge # 040.  I used the tangles-Paashalov, Paradox and Bumpeeze.

Saturday night, I decided to make a fun bookmark from a scrap of Bristol paper, of course, I had to add hearts, they are one of my favorite tangles.

Last of all, yesterday I finished a ruffle scarf, which needed to ge done, I think it turned out pretty!!
